Dr. Nishad Situt graduated in medicine from the prestigious T. N. Medical College & B. Y. L Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai in 2016. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery (M.S. Ortho) from Government Medical College, Latur in 2020. He subsequently cleared DNB (Orthopedics) in 2021. He then trained extensively in the Department of Spine Surgery at the prestigious Sancheti Institution for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation from 2022-2024.

He then trained in spinal deformity correction and spinal tumor surgeries in the spine and spinal cord surgery department at Keio University Hospital, Tokyo, Japan (2024).

Since graduating in 2016, he has cumulative experience of more than 2000 operations and procedures. He has a special interest and expertise in treating cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine problems. He is trained in minimally invasive as well as navigation (O-Arm) assisted fusion, fracture, infection, and tumor surgeries for the spine.

Dr. Nishad Situt follows evidence-based treatment strategies and is actively involved in research. He has published and presented on multiple National platforms. A few of his research areas include Minimally invasive lumbar fusion, O-arm navigation-assisted screw insertion in scoliosis correction surgeries, Navigation guided spinal tumor excision, Utility of navigation-assisted index-level pedicle screw insertion in spinal infections, etc.
